On 4 November 2019, Leaders of ASEAN and Dialogue Partners joined the Special Lunch on Sustainable Development with the Managing Director of IMF to discuss collaboration between ASEAN and external partners to achieve SDGs more effectively. Such collaboration could take stock from existing mechanisms such as the Complementarities Initiative between the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD).
