On 2 – 3 November 2019, the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, and Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking of the Kingdom of Thailand, jointly organised the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2019 (ABIS2019) under the theme “Empowering ASEAN 4.0.” The meeting serves as a platform for the public and private sectors to discuss and exchange views on three important issues namely, connected and standardised trade facilitations (TFs), preparations for the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR), and sustainable development.
