On 4 November 2019, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.), Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, chaired the 14^th East Asia Summit (EAS) during the 35^th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. The Meeting noted the progress according to the Manila Plan of Action to Advance the Phnom Penh Declaration on EAS Development Initiative (2018 – 2022) and exchanged views on regional and international issues. In addition, the Meeting adopted three documents on combatting illicit drugs and transnational crimes, and forging partnerships for sustainability.
